General Notes:
Harold married Amy Turner in 1923, he worked on the Railway for all his life from the age of 14. On the marriage certificate his occupation was Railway Fireman, this was when he worked as a coal man on the steam trains.
Harold was a very tall man and very stout. He had a great personality and was married for almost 60 years. Sadly Harold died just before his diamond wedding anniversary.
He is buried at Tottenham Cemetary in a family grave next to his mother and father. Also buried in the same grave is Amy Ethel his wife, his daughter Rita and her husband George, who's ashes are scattered there.
Harold married Amy Ethel TURNER, daughter of John TURNER and Jane SHEPHERD, on 14 Apr 1923 in Tottenham Middlesex. (Amy Ethel TURNER was born on 30 Jul 1904 in Tottenham London, died on 6 Sep 1991 in Harlow Essex and was buried in Tottenham Cemetery Middlesex.)
