The RLogin system was implemented for our MiniProject Lab. It is a simple remote login implementation on Linux using socket programming. The programming language used was C.

Remote Login allows a user to login into his computer across a network and access it's resources. It is built on TCP/IP and hence will work on any network that supports TCP/IP.

The rlogin system consists of -

• rlogin server -
  The server can wait on any available port (default port is 3000) with multi-client support. The server has been built for fast response.
• rlogin client -
  The rlogin thin client can connect to any rlogin server on a network.
• GUI rlogin client -
  A GUI client developed using GTK+ with ZVT terminal widget.
