DATA
ANALYSES FROM DR CHADHA ON HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY FOR CP, STROKE, TRAUMATIC
BRAIN INJURY AND MS.
Dr
Chadha has one of the largest practice in North America of treating
kids with HBOT for Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Brain injury
and stroke.
Today
Dr Chadha is going to analyze over 60 patients on whom he has
collected data post HBO Therapy so far. The patients will be
presented one by one ,any one interested to know more details can
contact him privately by Email or his cell Phone # 613-265-1233
ANALYSIS OF
APPROXIMATELY OVER 20,000 DIVES
Following are the POSITIVE
RESULTS
Better fine motor
skills.
Better gross motor
skills
Improved speech and
vocalization
Improved tone and
decreased spasticity.
"Easy to look
after the child" were the comments of many moms
Following were the
NEGATIVE RESULTS encountered in 20,000 sessions (dives)
Redness of the ear
drums more so in the parents than children. This responded to a
course of antibiotic and an Advil sinus or Tylenol sinus taken one
hour before the session. Very rarely I had to stop the dive because
the parents could
not handle it because
of the discomfort, the rest period lasted for a day or two.
The kids for
the most part tolerated the procedure very well, the only time we
gave them a rest is when they were not feeling well. There was an
occasional redness of the ear drum which was successfully treated
with antibiotics and or a decongestant.
Presentation
of data so far analyzed.
Random
Overall
positive results.
No
major negative results. |

- Case #2
- Autism and HBO
Therapy
- A brief report on
Autism and HBO Therapy
- AGE 15 yrs old
male
- Age at diagnosis 2
yrs.
- This child was
diagnosed at the age of 2 yrs with Autism. Mom came for HBO and
child received 40 sessions at 1.75 ATA
-
- Tried a HBO in a
multiplace chamber the therapy did not go well , child did not
say still and so the HBO was aborted.
- She tried HBO in a
mono place chamber with the help of ativan during the therapy,
child successfully completed 40 sessions under my supervision
with out any problem.
- PRE HBO STATUS
OF CHILD
- Can not watch TV
because of short attention span
- Poor eye contact
- Does not stay
still , always moving and active.
- Can not stay still
in toilet.
- Things in his room
in disarray.
- Poor
concentration.
- Behavior poor for
example when in Doctors office it was hard to get his
co-operation for the medical examination.
- POST HBO
THERAPY
- Can watch TV with
concentration.
- Better eye contact
with care giver.
- When mom goes
shopping , she can ask him to stay at one spot so she can do her
shopping and he would follow commands so the shopping became a
pleasant experience rather than a struggle and constant fight
and supervision.
- Now daily routine
at home improved for example can sit in the toilet for 5-6
minutes with out any distraction.
- Things in the room
of the child are kept in an organized way.
- Concentration has
improved significantly.
- Behavior is much
better.
- Examination in an
MDs office is much easier.
- So overall a great
improvement in the quality of life and burden of care has
lessened tremendously
