Most people who have seen and heard The Dawgs play live know us for our extensive repertoire of cover material. But did you know we also have our own original material as well?
Our first CD, Are You There, released in 1998, was recorded Toronto at Inception Sound Studio and Number Nine Sound. The disc features a wide range of musical styles, from all-out rockers like "Gravitational Love" and "Lucy Forgot Me" to the more melodic "Love Turns Me On" and "Hands In The Water". Aside from The Dawgs, the disc also features the amazing talents of guest musicians Dave Murphy (hammond organ, piano), and Roly Platt (harmonica), two of Toronto's better-known local musicians.
