Below are some shots from our July 19-20 weekend at the Dardanella in Wasaga Beach, where we played to another packed summer crowd! Friday night was definitely an experience as the band Sloan was playing upstairs while we played downstairs. Our last set featured a little tribute to Sloan as we performed their top ten hit "The Other Man". Little did we know that Sloan was actually downstairs at the time, secretly checking out our rendition of the song. Sloan later commented that they enjoyed hearing us play it, and especially noted (jokingly?) that our drummer played it better than their drummer! Way to go Mark, but don’t get any ideas about leaving The Dawgs to join Sloan!
Thanks again to our friends at the Dard, (especially Rick, Michelle and Scott) for having us out once again. Also, special thanks to our friend Tammy who risked life and limb on Saturday getting all these great shots!
