Born in the Carpathian Mountains Drakulya was a ruler and leader of his people.  Feared by his enemies

his reputation for violence and cruelty were often exaggerated.  After becoming one of the blood he retired to his castle

where he now resides.

Forced from her homeland due to her unnatural lack of aging, Egwene has wandered the

world for many centuries searching for the reasonof her curse. 

Recently during her wanderings she met and was befriended by Drakulya.

Now his second, she resides in the castle with him, maintaining the peace and organization of there home.
