We own two Alpine female goats. They were born in the spring of 2008. We are planning to breed them in the late fall/early winter of 2009. Annabell and Willow is quite a pair. What one doesn't do the other does. Willow loves to play on rocks and jump on everything she's not suppose too, like my car. Annabell just loves to nibble on clothing and fingers. They are both bottle raised and follow us when we let them loose. There is only two weeks different in their ages so when Willow starts a phase it's not long before Annabell starts it too. We purchased them to help us clean the new pastures we are putting in and they are doing a great job at helping us. This summer they were chippers and this fall they were rakers. Couldn't ask for any better helpers. Hopefully the babies will make someone just as good as a pet as these have to us.
