1) God-Moders will not be tolerated. You will be told when something you are doing is considered God-Moding. It includes, but is not limited to, not taking damage, impossible actions, impossible blocks, etc.
2) Controlling others is expressedly forbidden. You cannot assign damage to another, move another without permission, or "dominate" another without speaking with the one to be dominated.
3) Cussing out of character is asked to be kept to a minimum. If you are not sure what is considered cussing, ask an Op. Cussing in character is expected, but please we are adults please do keep it to a minimum.
4) Any attempt at or mentioning of "Hacking" or "Spamming" a person, server, computer, or company will be dealt with harshly. The only exception is if it is obviously an in-character comment only.
5) Super-characters will be watched carefully. If an Op requests that you "tone down" your character's abilities, please do so. Further uses of the same ability will be considered God-Moding and will be dealt with acoordingly.
6) If there is a problem with an Op, do not make a scene. Please log the situation and alert the next other Op you see. It will be taken care of as soon as possible.
7) OoC racial slurs will also not be accepted. People of many ethnic backgrounds and racial types share our desire to RP and to be in a friendly environment to do so. Making rude, obnoxious, or demeaning comments about any race, gender, ethnicity, affiliation, or religion will not be tolerated.
8) We ask that all characters that are planning on being regulars please send an e-mail describing basic character (IC desc.), name, clan, and any relevent information. This information will be open to the public and kept in as close to it's original form as humanly possible, but remeber this is still OoC information, not to be used in play.
9) Sexual activity has to be within reasonable limits. There will be children who visit and try to RP. Because of this, we must ask that anything more sexual than kissing, holding, groping, dancing, and sexual suggestions be left to private rooms. Sexual nakedness will not be allowed in the public room, as well as all sexual activity involving the genitalia. Non-sexual nakedness is allowed (as with a Garou shifting back into Homid form), but description needs to be curbed away from the sexual.
Once again, all complaints of problems with any character or Op must be logged and the log sent to The Wandering Assassin Ops with a description of your side of the story and the subject as . Leave your character's name and where you can be reached, if not at the e-mail the message was sent from, in the body of the message.
Punishments: (these are subject to change at any time and are only here to offer a possible idea of what will happen).
1st problem: Warning including what you did wrong (may be skipped if the infraction was bad enough).
2nd: kick and 30-120 second ban.
3rd: kick and 30-120 minute ban.
4th: 1 week ban.
After this it is obvious you are not going to learn and you will be perm-banned.
(Be warned: these rules may change at any time based on need and new problems which may arise. Refer to this page often as ignorance is not an excuse.)
1) All attack forms have to be consistant with the era this room is set in. Yes it is free form, but if you come in with a modern weapon, you are likly to be ignored.
2) All actions made against another character need to be made in such a way as to allow the other character to post his/her reaction. (For example: "I punch towards Joe's face" Joe can respond by allowing the punch to connect, in which case he assigns damage, or he can respond by saying that he dodged or in some other way avoided the punch in which case I would have to state my reaction to his dodge.)
3) All fights need to be performed in a turn based manner. There will be no speed fighting in the public room. If you have a desire to speed fight, you may do so in a temporary room elsewhere on agreement of your opponent.
4) All actions and reactions need to retain some form of observance of the laws of physics and probability. Hits will cause reactions if connected, no matter how small. No matter how good at dodge you are and how horrible the other person is at brawl, some hits will land on you. Be reasonable. Also use private rooms and exchange basic stats for fighting/dodging/parrying purposes.
5) Actions and reactions need to have some semblance of detail to them. A reaction to a sword swing of "ducks" is not acceptable, explain how close the attack was, how you saw it coming, etc. Sometimes simple reactions are best, but at least give your opponent some credit and put some work into your actions and reactions.
6) Always assign damage to attacks that hit you. Play the damage out. If someone sliced up your bicep or shoulder, every movement of that limb (until healed) would cause pain. Also every consecutive attack in that area would cause greater pain and damage.
7) This chat room has no real base system, And This Can cause problems in time. The op will have the final say when it all comes right down to it. We want you to have fun, but you have to help us by not being morons.
