- Newport Wastesavers - provides information about recycling particularly there own curb-side collections.
- Newport.gov.uk - Newport city council's website.
- Alsopreview - a writer gives his childhood impresssion of living in one of Newport's prefab houses.
- upyourstreet.com - a very good resource for local information.
- southwales-web.com/longwalks.htm - just what it says, long walks in the locality.
- accac.org.uk/.../beresford.html - The Beresford Centre provides counselling in situations of unexpected pregnancy and with problems post abortion and post miscarriage.
- jameshull.co.uk/.../gaer.htm - our local Dentist.
- Gaer Medical Centre - our local Doctor's Surgery. Other local surgeries - see gpinfo.com
- knowhere.co.uk/ - provides links and information about all towns in Britain, this link for the Newport links section(!).
- neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk - provides statistically data about the UK, this link is for wards in Newport.
- Gaer Park Model Flying CLub - this club used to meet at the Fort on the Gaer but moved c.1990 to the Marshfields area. It still bears the Gaer name though!
