Although it is quite hard to decode the large amount of
Japanese text explaining this game, it does obviously take a step up from
the original 2 games. From what I could make out, you have to stop a
crystal from shattering, much like the story of Final Fantasy V.
One of the things that stand out in this game is the
music. It is alot more dramatic than it used to be, and features certain
songs that are still used today in Final Fantasy VII. The graphics have
been improved greatly, and push the NES console to its limits.
Overall, this game marks out the basic elements used in
Final Fantasy today, and is a classic worth remembering.
Overall Score: 7/10
