PLAYSTATION:
MEDIEVIL 2

Reviewed by Grayson.

Sir Daniel Fortesque back from the dead in another exciting game - Medieval 2. There is a bigger range of enemies, which are harder to kill than in the original Medieval. The Zombies take 5 hits with a sword to kill - 1 to take off one arm, 1 to take off the other, one to take off the head, then two on the body to kill the Zombie.

There is a new range of weapons including guns like the pistol. You collect the gold and buy things from the spir like ammo. Some of the enemies also have guns. The game still has the chalice.

There is a helpful ghost named Winston who appears on each level giving you advice and telling you how to do things like run and use the spir.

The 1st level (The Museum) is a good training level. It is nice and easy - you get a pistol and you fight some reasonbly hard and easy enemies. The ghost helps you through the whole level. Dinosaurs pop out of the walls at you and you fight their offspring or kids. You have to use the cannon to blow some rocks up so you can continue on the level. There is a display for the guy he destroys on Medieval. There are lots of rooms in the museum.

Each level provides puzzles to solve, ranging from finding a key to opening a door to collecting a series of items to be used in order. Some boxes can be pushed or pulled, providing a boost up and opening up new areas. Basically, exploration is the key to the game. Go everywhere, find everything, kill all the baddies. The more coins you collect, the more ammunition you can purchase, the better your shield, the more it will withstand. Destruction of Palethorn's minions fills your Chalice, and so on.

Overall, I'll give it: 8/10
