. grrrl .
kate, 18, is currently a junior journalism major at the university of the philippines, diliman.
she digs buffy the vampire slayer, pays homage to faith and eliza dushku,
and drools over spike and james marsters' accent. she cried when tara died
in "seeing red". she had desperately tried to dye her hair the exact colour
of willow's hair for several times now, but miserably failed. every time.
when she's not abandoning everything else for the love of buffy, she also
writes much, while listening to sarah mclachlan, tori amos, clair marlo, lisa
loeb, lifehouse, the corrs, matchbox twenty, and evanescence.
she's single, and she (thinks) she's now tired of looking at the wrong places
for the right person.
[she's crazy about webdesign, and she swears she'll marry the geniuses behind
adobe photoshop and macromedia dreamweaver. check out her recommendations,
as well as her other sites at linkage.]
welcome to enter the graveyard shift : version3.0_goodbye
a tribute to one of television's most memorable series
author's note: yes, people of the philippines, we still have ONE more season of buffy goodness to go, but as i am also a member of the buffy online community, i am putting this one up as i mourn with those who had already seen the season seven SERIES ender, "chosen". i am extremely saddened there's nothing more to come after the seventh, but then again, happy that i had been touched. they will be missed. terribly.
~
anyway, despite that sad note... let us remember:
THIS IS STILL THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT!
you are still hereby advised to proceed with caution.
and because this is a sorta tribute site, i had named the subsections after two of my fave characters, willow and spike, and the two others after my favorite season six episodes, tabula rasa and once more, with feeling, also known as the buffy musical.
the willow subsection features essays, mostly my buffy rants as of late.
the spike subsection features poetry - alluding of course, to the fact that spike had once been a bloody mortal poet. these were the poems i wrote for that poetry class i took, summer 2003.
the tabula rasa part features everything else - fiction and digital artwork, adobe photoshop tinkerings.
so there. proceed with caution. have fun.
and don't forget to leave a note somewhere - guestbook,
tag in the blog,
email: thegshift@yahoo.com, wherever.
my thanks to just
imagine screencaps for the images in the header - they're from episodes,
after life and tabula rasa.
