I feel ashamed that I should have to write this page, as a warning to those considering taking part in the activities of urban exploration, or the general exploration of haunted or otherwise abandoned sites, as most of he sites listed on these pages are. Turn off everything in your room, including your TV. Turn the music off, and concentrate on the following paragraph. Read it at least two times. The locations discussed on this website are real, historic locations in the midwestern United States. A large percentage of the locations discussed here are private property, meaning that you can be arrested for trespassing should you decide to cross onto the property without prior permission of the owner. I am not responsible for your actions; Furthermore, out of simple respect, you should refrain from vandalazing, damaging, or otherwise leaving a site in any way different than it was when you arrived, except in acts of, say, removing litter. Leaving historical locations the way that you found them is a way of showing respect to those who may have died there. Please take care of these sites, so that others may continue to enjoy them. I think that covers all of the necessary legal parts for now. I'll update this page at a later time with more detailed, in-depth legal information; Just remember that I'm not a lawyer and such advice should never be taken as factual unless otherwise confirmed.
