8th May - Secret Gig
Starsailor are to play a 'secret' show to just 40 people in central London this weekend.

The Band have invited fans to apply for tickets for the show, which is taking place in an unspecified location.

Their official website reports that the show coincides with singer James Walsh's (main Front Man) birthday and will be marked with an acoustic show.

A posting states: "As a thank you for your support and to help celebrate James' 21st birthday, we will be playing a small acoustic gig in Central London this Saturday (June 9) at 3.30pm.

"(Sorry to those of you in the North but we're in the studio mixing down here). Admission is free, but the catch is there's only room for 40 people." - James Walsh

With the upcoming Album From Starsailor there will be too many Song Lyrics to do, and i simply cant be bothered to do them, But I will be replacing somthing in its place :-)

2nd June - Ready Album

Starsailor have revealed details of their highly-awaited debut album and announced three UK shows for this August.

The Wigan set band, have been recording their first long-play Album in Wales for the last couple of months.

A posting on their website reveals how the recordings, which are being produced by Steve Osborne, are going: "Time has flown by and we're nearing the end of our time in Wales.

"We've been working really hard (honestly!) and we've put down nearly all the tracks that are likely to be on the album, including a new song 'She Just Wept'."

Meanwhile, the band, who will release a new single to coincide, have confirmed that they will play three shows in the UK, alongside a host of festival appearances here and across the world.

The dates are as follows:

August 14 - Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh
August 15 - MDH, Manchester
August 16 - Astoria, London


2nd June - Witness to go ahead
After months of speculation, Witnness, Ireland's two-day music festival, has been confirmed for the weekend of August 4 and 5.

The news follows doubts over the future of Ireland's only festival, which prompted a campaign called Bring Back Witnness.

The event will take place at the Fairyhouse Racecourse near Dublin and acts so far confirmed include
Stereophonics, Paul Weller, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Placebo, James, Starsailor and The Avalanches.
