Profile: Dickie Dodd was the first voice to be heard on Radio 106FM in the East Midlands whilst it was in the control of Ron Coles (ex-Trent & now Radio Exec for Saga Radio plc) and prior to Border Radio taking full control and changing it to Century 106.

In July 2006, Dickie Dodd himself wrote: 'I am Dickie Dodd/Richard Dodd formerly of BBC Southern Counties Radio / Radio 106 / Century 106 FM / BBC Radio Nottingham.
