As collected from Derby's 'BBC Radio Goes To Town' Big Top in 1990, images and presenter photographs from BBC Radio 2

A long time before she was insulting people on TV quiz shows or 'Watchdogging', Anne Robinson held the Saturday slot (now occupied by Jonathan Ross) back in 1990.

And here are some other faces from Radio 2, including 'THE VOICE OF THE BALLS' - these cards from a different print run...

Famed for his 'hello there' catchphrase, and still appearing on a Sunday night (11:00pm-Midnight - The David Jacobs Collection) on Radio 2 nowadays it's David Jacobs

Periodical presenter of 'Nightride' and newsreader ... whatever happened to Patrick Lunt?

Ex BBC Radio Derby and BBC Radio 2 man - another nice bloke - Graham Knight (incidentally - there's one thing I've always remembered hearing Graham say about radio that I've remembered ever since my visit to a hospital radio conference weekend lecture quite a few years ago - 'If you've got nothing constructive to say - don't say anything.'   I seem to remember Graham leaving his radio presenters job with the Beeb to run his own company but, what the company did I couldn't remember.  So it's thanks to Ben Moore who wrote: 'I went to college with Graham's son Paul.  Graham went to run '...an award-winning business delivering practical website and web application consultancy'.  It's called 'Broadband Communications' and you can find their site at www.broadband.co.uk  Thanks go to Ben for getting in touch.  Ray Green gave us a further update in October 2004: 'I tracked down Graham Knight whilst in Nottingham in July.  He is running a speciality tea/coffee store in Sherwood, not far away from where he lives...'.

Before lottery, now nicknamed 'Deadly Alancoat', one of Terry's old geezers, and now 'VOICE OF THE BALLS', Alan Dedicoat
