The Javawocky runsfrom 7:30 to 10:00pm . Attendance is restricted to high school age, but parents are welcome to drop by. There is a suggested donation of three dollars at the door, after which concessions including tea, hot chocolate, and various cookies, are free. The location is wheelchair accessible, but please be sure to let us know in advance if you have any special needs. (The location is on the information page.)

Perform

If you are part of a band (or other group that requires setup), please contact us and plan to arrive about fifteen minutes early. For other acts, you can let us know if so inspired; in any case, arrive at 7:30 and sign up for your time slot in the first fifteen minutes or so. You can sing, play an instrument, read poetry, do short drama, do interpretive dance, or anything else (within reason and good taste) that you can think of. We are aiming to have anywhere from four or five to eighteen or twenty performers. Because act length is dictated by the number of people who wish to perform, anywhere from five minutes to the whole night possible, though you should plan for the former. Also, feel free to bring any instruments, costumes, art, poetry books, music (to play between acts, during activities or before we start), or other things for general use or display which might inspire and facilitate creative expression.
