6th March 2001 - Rachael Beck is starring in 'Singin In The Rain' in the lead role of Cathy.
Pia Morley is also starring in 'Singin in the Rain.' She has also been nominated for a Green Room Award for her role is 'SOM.'

Rumours are around that Lisa McCune will star in a new courtroom drama on the Seven Network.

13th February 2001 - The final performance of this production of 'The Sound of Music' was performed in Adelaide on Sunday, February 11th. After almost 400 performances, the production has closed, playing it's final season in Adelaide. It has broke box office records in every state is has been to. In Adelaide, before opening night, the advance ticket sales was $3 million. In every other state, it has performed to full houses. The production started in Sydney, which then toured to Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

16th October 2000 - The tickets to the Adelaide season will be on sale Monday week. The Adelaide launch is today. Rachael Beck and Rob Guest will be in town for today's launch. Bert Newton has done a recorded message for the launch. In the Adelaide season, the housekeeper, Frau Schmitz will be played by Rowan Wallace of 'Sons and Daughters' fame.
24th August 2000 - I've added quite a few things on the site, including a sound site. I will add more sounds, including TV sounds from the show.
10th August 2000 - Rob Guest has taken over the role of Captain Von Trapp for the Brisbane Season and onwards. He only had 4 days of rehearsal, and he went on brilliantly, according to Bert Newton on 'GMA' last Friday, when interviewing Anthony Warlow, who is going into 'Annie.'
25th July 2000 - Official news: Bert Newton interviewed Rachael Beck on GMA yesterday. Rachael Beck will be taking over Lisa McCune as Maria after the Brisbane Season. I'm probably the most delighted. I've been a huge fan of Rachael Beck ever since 'Hey Dad!' I even got the chance to meet her when I saw in 'Les Mis' in Melbourne. On the interview, they showed some vision and sound of her in it. She sounds excellent. She is perfect for the role. She also happened to mention that it would be in Adelaide in January. No dates confirmed yet. Adelaide dates should be released at the end of the Brisbane season or at the beginning of the Perth season.
18th July 2000 - Lisa McCune will be leaving after the Brisbane season, according to the new TV Week. She talked to TV Week, telling them that after the Brisbane season, she will be having her honeymoon with husband, Tim Disney. She's going overseas, because, for one reason, she will be going to see some theatre to see if they're any shows to bring back for Australian audiences. She also mentioned about the 'Sound of Music' London offer, saying that she wouldn't say anything until she's actually signed the contract.
4th July 2000 - It's been over two months since I've touched this site since I've been concentrating on my 'Musical Links,' and their hasn't been much news about the production. The Brisbane Season will be starting at the end of July.
25th April 2000 - Firstly, I have found the official site for this production. It is at:

She will be starring in the London Production of 'The Sound of Music,' produced by John Frost. It should premiere are Christmas time. According to the source article in 'Woman's Day,' dated April 24, 2000, Lisa and her husband, Tim Disney could be in England for up to two years. 28th March 2000 - This site has been updated drastically. There are new pages on the GMA special, cast profiles, and much more.
14th March 2000 - Yesterday, Lisa McCune appeared on 'GMA' with Angela Bishop, live from the Princess Theatre in Melbourne. Bert Newton was at the Flemington racecourse doing a live broadcast with them. I'm not entirely sure, but the way they mentioned it was they are going to do a show live from the Princess Theatre with 'GMA.' Not the whole show, but bits and pieces live. That was what it sounded like when they mentioned. But tune into channel 10 to find out. That's this Friday (March 17th).
2nd March 2000 - Well, finally, the whole site is on-line. It's taken me five months to put the whole site on-line since I started creating it. There will be updates whenever ticket sales or anything else comes on about this production of 'The Sound of Music.' If there is some news, it will be updated on a Tuesday (Australian time.) When the production closes, I will still leave the site on-line.
6th January 2000 - I've recently purchased the cast album. It is brilliant. There will be more information on the live cast album very shortly.
24th December 1999 - This morning on the 'Today' show, Richard Wilkins mention that 'The Sound of Music' Australian Cast Recording is now available. I'll try and find more information on the album.
13th December 1999 - On Saturday on Seven at 8.30pm, Lisa McCune and the VonTrapp Children will be appearing on 'Carols on the Domain' which should mean they'll sing a song from the show.
9th December 1999 - This week it has been announced that the Melbourne season at the Princess Theatre will commence from 21 March 2000. In this weeks 'TV Week,' there is an article about Lisa McCune and the show. This site will soon contain pictures.
27th November 1999 - On Thursday, John Frost was interviewed on GMA. Also, on ET, there was a section about the show. There will be a repeat on Monday on Nine at 11.30am. I also have the song list for the show.
20th November 1999 - Last night on the 'People's Choice Awards,' Lisa McCune, John Waters, Pia Morley, and one of the two cast of children on that night sang 'So Long, Farewell' on the show. Lisa McCune won no awards surprisingly enough.
15th November 1999 - This morning on 'Good Morning Australia,' this was a report about opening night.
14th November 1999 - Lisa McCune was on the nominations for the AFI Awards, but she didn't win, and therefore was not featured on the show. She will be appearing on 'People's Choice Awards' on Seven on Friday from 8.30pm. She could be on the 'Hey, Hey it's Saturday Finale' on Nine on Saturday from 6.30pm.
13th November 1999 - Last night, there was a review of opening night on 'Entertainment Tonight' on Nine. There will soon be a script of this on this site.
11th November 1999 - Tonight is opening night. On tomorrow's 'Entertainment Tonight,' there should be a review of opening night.
10th November 1999 - Tomorrow night, 'The Sound of Music' will open. Reviews soon. Lisa McCune will be appearing on the AFI Awards on this Saturday night on SBS at 8.30pm, and also, the 'People's Choice Awards' on Friday, November 19th on Seven at 8.30pm. Yesterday, on Seven Nightly News (Adelaide), there was a section about 'The Sound of Music,' and Lisa McCune talks a bit about it. Also, this morning, Richard Wilkins interviewed Lisa McCune and John Waters on the 'Sound of Music' set. It was an excellent interview. They also showed sections of the show.
