Nearly two and a half centuries since a band of audacious American colonialists pitched boxes of English tea into Boston Harbor, Habitat Media has begun work on The Lost Art of Tea Tossing, an inspiring film about the soul of our modern democracy. The documentary takes a look at today's political process, exploring the complicated interplay between competing interests and tracing a line stretching from our founding fathers to today's leaders in government and business. Featuring extraordinary interviews, footage and animations that examine how our democracy truly works, the film explores the challenges our political leaders face on a daily basis and looks at the various ways in which citizens make their voices heard. The Lost Art of Tea Tossing celebrates "The Great Experiment" — an American democracy that's been evolving for over 200 years.
