Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Volume 1 This super hero value meal only airs for fifteen minutes a week, but it's the most bizarre fifteen minutes in television. Along with Carl, their neighbor and constant victim, the trio finally hits DVD in a big way. The two dics set is packed with extras, including several interlocking easter eggs that form an alternate version of an episode. Definite must have for Adult Swim fans. A
Family Guy Vol. 1: Seasons 1 & 2 The hilarious show from the incredibly talented Seth Macfarlane( He does several of the voices) is here for all fans. So rejoice , the commentaries are solid with the writers and actors. All around excellent box set. A
Queer as Folk: The Complete First Season Showtime's series about a group ofvery different gay friends is very unique to American television. Though the series can be a bit overdramatic, and some of the love scenes are reminiscent of HBO's Oz, it is entertaining. I enjoy the fact that the characters are taken in very different directions, one starts a porn site, two others create a comic book, one is a lawyer, etc. B
Queer as Folk: The Complete Second Season The series begins to deal with greater problems in it's second season. A lover dies, AIDS is dealt with in a stronger manner, and drug abuse becomes more of an issue. B
Simpsons, The: Season 1 Ah, back in the day. The animation was crappier, the message was more wholesome, but it was just as much fun. Includes commentary, TV specials and a message from Tracy Ullman. A
Simpsons, The: Season 2 Bart is still the main focus here, but the DVD includes the Do the Bartman video, Butterfinger commercials and much more than the first set. A
Simpsons, The: Season 3 Homer finally takes charge of the show and it's a turn for the better. Includes great stuff like commentary, old TV ads and more good crap. A+
