Chapter 2
June 7th Entry #3 Hey yall! Well the guys played Los Angeles last night and the place was packed! It was an outdoor venue and the humidity was extremely high, even at night. So the guys broke out the SuperSoakers at the end of the show and sprayed the audience down. But even with the excrutiating heat, the guys put on an amazing show as always. I put up some more tour dates so hopefully we'll be stopping by your hometown soon! Oh yeah..In case you were wondering about the "nail polish incident". Justin got a little aggravated, naturally, but he told me that one thing he's learned from touring with the other guys is that you dont get mad, you get even! "Man youve been around Justin too long." Chris said looking over her shoulder, away from his Playstation game.

"What do you mean?" Dani said shutting down her computer.

"Keep it Crunk?".

"Oh that." Dani said brushing her hair away from her face, trying not to look up at Chris.
"You know, its a habit."

"He was youre favorite wasnt he?"

"Huh?"

"You know before you met us and got to know us and everything. Back when you were just a fan? He was youre favorite right?"

"I guess so?" Dani said uncomfortably shrugging her shoulders.

"I dont mean to embarress ya, Im just asking you."

"Youre not embarressing me."

"Then why is your face red?"

Dani stared at him blankly and couldnt think of a response.

"Hmmm?" Chris said raising his eyebrows.

"Whats your point Chris?" She said laughing nervously.

"Oh nothing." He said turning back to his game as Dani got up to go to the front lounge.

"You just still have the hots for him thats all. Its cute."

Dani spun around and looked at Chris. "I do not!"

"If you say so."

"Chris I dont!"

"Ok."

"You arent gonna say anything are you?"

"Why would it matter if I said anything? Since You dont like him and all." Chris smiled. He loved playing mind games.Especially with people who werent used to them.

"But..but.." Dani stumbled over her words."But then he might think that I do like him so just dont say anything because then he might...and What is this conversation even about?"

"I dunno you started it." Chris said laughing.

Dani threw her hands in the air and headed into the front lounge. She was confused enough already. She didnt need any extra help. She walked over to the small refrigerator and got a can of soda out.

"Hey Justin!" Chris yelled from one end of the bus to the other.

"What?" Justin said getting himself a drink out of the fridge.

"Come here a minute!" Chris said.

Justin started making his way to the back of the bus, Dani looked up and ran in front of him.

"Chris?" She yelled

"Yes Dani?" He said smiling as she walked back to where he was with Justin right behind her.

"Chris!" She said putting her hands on her hips and staring a hole through him. Chris just smiled at her innocently.

"What did you want Chris?" Justin asked, staring at the two of them.

"Oh yeah I was just wondering..." Chris said smiling at Dani, who looked like she was fixing to explode.
"I was just wondering if..you had seen my Final Fantasy game?"

"No sorry bro." Justin said as Dani breathed a sigh of relief.

"Oh ok thanks." Chris said as Justin went back to the other end of the bus. Dani could feel her face turning red again.

"Im not gonna tell him dont worry."

Dani started back out the door but then she stopped and turned around and smiled at Chris.

"Thank you." She said

"No Problem." He said smiling back at her.

That night Dani lay asleep on her bunk when suddenly she saw a ray of light shining through her open curtain. She turned over and saw Justin sticking his head in through the curtain.

"Justin?" Dani said rubbing her eyes.

"Shhh.." Justin said putting his finger up to his lips.
"Look at what I got." He whispered as he held up a aerosol can with a bright neon green lid on top.

"Is that spray paint?" Dani whispered

"No no...well not really, You know that hair spray stuff you spray on your hair on Halloween?"

"Like hair dye?"

"Yeah that."

"What...are you gonna do with it?" She asked him wearily.

"Climb up there and spray it on Joey's hair." He said smiling wickedly. Dani just smiled and shook her head.

"Wanna help me?"

"Oh no..Im not getting into this little charade of yours."

"But youre already in it remember?" He said not giving up.
"You told me who did it."

"But thats our little secret remember??" she said mocking him.

"Fine. Ill do it myself."
"Ok." Dani said yawning as she lay back down on her bunk.

She watched Justin crawl up to the top bunk and spray Joey's hair bright green. Joey slept right through the whole thing. Justin crawled back down and looked over at Dani and winked at her as he crawled back into his bunk and fell asleep.

The next morning everyone had gotten up before Joey. Chris and JC were in the back lounge watching Tv, and Lance, Justin and Dani were all in the kitchen area eating some cereal. Joey finally got up and walked into the kitchen area. Justin and Dani look up at him and quietly hold in thier laughter, until Lance looks up, not knowing what Justin had done the night before, and almost chokes on his Apple Jacks. Joey stared at him in confusion.

"Umm Good morning to you too Lance?" Joey said picking up the box of cereal.

"Oh yeah umm..hey I ummm *cough* think I had something stuck in my throat..."Lance said trailing off into more laughter. Tears were practically rolling off his cheeks.

"Whats wrong with him?" Joey said looking at Justin and Dani who both shrugged thier shoulders innocently.

"Oh my GOD what the HECK is THAT?!?" Chris yelled as he and JC joined the others.

"What did you do to your hair man?" JC said as he glanced down at Justin who was staring out the bus window.

"What?" Joey exclaimed. "What is wrong with my hair? What is so funny??" He then looked up at the mirrored ceiling of the bus and let out a glass shattering scream.

"WHO did it??" Joey said looking around at his bandmates angrily.

"Hey for once it wasnt me!" Chris said throwing up his arms defensively and laughing.
"But I must say..whoever did it, nice handiwork!" he said touching Joey's vibrant green hair. Joey quickly smacked his hand away and glared over at Lance.

"Hey, what... ME?" Lance said pointing to himself.
"Come on Joey use your head."

"Yeah you know the green one.."Chris said chuckling.

"Hmm well that only leaves one more person.." Joey said glaring at Justin as he got up and put his bowl away. Justin turned and looked at Joey as if he didnt know what he was talking about.

"One person? What about JC?" Justin said pointing at JC.

"Because it was done at night. JC doesnt even get up to use the bathroom at night let along spray paint someones HAIR!" Joey yelled.

"Yeah!" JC said

"So Thats why youre so cranky!" Chris said to JC.

"Shut up!"

"Justin...fess up or pay the consequences."

"You know actually Joey it brings out the color of your eyes.." Justin said

"Justin..." Joey said picking up one of the SuperSoakers from the other night and holding it up to him.

"Uh oh..Dani you better move. This could get ugly."Chris said as Dani got up and stood with the others.

"Joey go easy on him..it washes out." Dani said as everyone stared at her in shock.

"You...did this Dani??" Joey asked her

"No! But Im just saying..it washes out...thats all."

He turned back to Justin as the bus came to a stop in front of the hotel. Fans were already waiting outside just to catch a glimpse of the guys. Joey started to get an idea.

"Joey..why..why are you smiling like that? Joe? Joey??" Justin said

"Hmmm ya know Justin I dont think Im gonna spray water on you." Joey said as Justin let out a breath of relief.
"Oh I wasnt finished." Joey continued.

"Huh?" Justin said

"I was gonna say I dont think Im gonna spray water on you there..." He said moving the water gun down from Justin's chest."

"Joey no..youre not gonna..No Joey dont! Im sorry!" Justin pleaded.

"Awww man thats cold Joe!" Chris said laughing as he and the others gathered thier things to head off the bus.

"Joey..." Dani said "Come on there are fans out there dont you think thats a little mean?"

"He'll get over it, He's a big boy." He said holding Justin back with one hand and spraying him with the other.

"Whoops..Curly had an accident!" Joey said laughing and followed the others off the bus, leaving Justin and Dani behind.

"That water was cold." Justin said frowning at the water stain on his khakis. Dani smiled at him as he looked up at her.

"So are you finally gonna quit this now?" she asked him.

"Nope" He said smiling mischieviously.

"Justin Randall Timberlake..I just dont know about you." She said gathering up the rest of thier things.

"Umm Dani?"

"Yeah?"

"Could you like..walk out in front of me?"

"Sure sweetie.Come on" She said laughing.

Dani and Justin made thier way up to the hotel rooms where the others already were. Since they were only going to be staying there long enough to shower and change clothes, They just decided to get one big adjoining room. It had 2 beds and a bathroom in each room with a kitchenette and half-bath in the middle.

JC was taking a shower in one room while Chris was in the half-bath. Lance was stretched out on one of the beds and Joey was flipping through the TV when Dani and Justin walked in

"One of the shower's is empty if either one of yall want it." Lance mumbled to them half asleep.

"You can go ahead Dani." Justin said to her.

"Yeah." Joey said laughing to himself.
"Justin's already had his shower."

"So hows the garden Joe?" Justin asked him without any expression on his face.

"The...garden? What gar..huh?" Joey said trying to comprehend Justin's question.

"You know..." Justin said beginning to laugh. "HO HO HO GREEEEEN Giant!"
Lance sat up laughing and patted Justin's shoulder on the way to the kitchenette.

"Good comeback Justin."

"Thank you. I thought so too." Justin said smiling at Joey who was getting extremely aggravated.
"Well.." Dani said innterrupting the tension in the room.
"Im going in the shower now. Yall dont hurt or injure each other while Im gone ok?"

"Yes Mommy!" Justin said cheerfully

"Mommy?" Joey said laughing.."Ha..Hey 'Mommy' looks like ya need to change the baby's draws'!"

"Leave him alone Joey.." Dani said closing the door.

Just then Chris walked in from the kitchenette, towell drying his hair and laughing to himself.

"What?" Justin said to him.

"You two are cute."

Justin and Joey looked at each other and then looked back at Chris.

"Why..thank you Chris but we dont...swing that way." Joey said.

Chris stopped drying his hair and stared at his two friends.

"What? Joey what are you talking abou..Oh!" He said as he started laughing. "No I dont mean YOU two are cute."

"Then who do you mean?" Justin said

"Oh you and ummm...oh yeah nevermind."

"Me and who?"

"Nothing I shouldnt be getting into this."

"Chris?"

"Justin?"

"You shouldnt be getting into what?"

"HEY look Justin theres an empty shower...You should go on in there."

Lance looked up at them from eating his sandwich. "Actually I was gonna go in there when I got done eating if thats.."

"No Poofoo Justin should go."

"Okay." Lance said
"No Lance go ahead Ill wait."

"Ok.." Lance said finishing his food and grabbing his towell and clothes.

"NO Lance sit down." Chris said grabbing Lance's shoulder."Justin should go."

"All right!" Lance said sitting back down. "Justin go ahead."

"No Lance go on. Chris was going to tell me something."

Lance started to get up and head for the half-bath.

"Aiiiint! SIT down boy! dont even think about it." Chris yelled.

JC then came out of the other room and stared at his three friends in confusion.

"Whats going on?" He said.

"Justin needs to go ahead and get in the shower." Chris said.

"No I dont. Chris was going to tell me something and now he's just making excuses."

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Baby!"

"Old man!"

"Jailbait!"

"Pedophile!"

"Lance??" JC said sighing.

"I was gonna get in the shower but Chris wont let me." Lance said.

Then Joey came in the room carrying his clothes and towell.

"Why didnt somebody tell me there was a free shower?" He asked them as he went into the half-bath and closed the door.

"Well that solves that." JC said walking past his friends to the other room.

"No it doesnt! What were you going to say Chris?"

"Justin go get in the shower youre wasting time." Chris said making up excuses.

"Am I gonna get to take a shower today??" Lance said interrupting them.

"Go on Lance." Justin said

"Yeah go on." Chris said sighing.

"Thank you!" Lance said getting up and going in the other room.

"Now what was it?" Justin said not giving up.

"Good God Justin to tell you the truth after all of that I dont even remember."

Then Dani walked in the kitchenette where Justin and Chris were. She had on her bathrobe and her hair was up in a clip with strands hanging down in her face. The smell of her shampoo filled the whole room.

"You know what I did?" She said laughing.
"I took everything in the bathroom with me but my clothes. Good thing they give you free bathrobes here huh?"
She continued laughing as Justin and Chris stared at her. "Guys? What? Is something wrong?"

"You mean youre not wearing any..." Chris said stumbling over his words.
The whole time he was thinking.."She's practically 10 yrs younger...She's practically 10 yrs younger..Chris this is sick..Chris this is wrong..Chris get ahold of yourself...Voice in my head SHUT UP!"

"Oh no I grabbed my underclothes just not my clothes clothes. ya know?"

"Oh." Chris and Justin both seemed to say at the same time.

"Gosh that would be really bad if I did that." She said laughing and went back into the other room to get her clothes.

Justin let out a deep breath. "Its gonna be a Lonnnng tour." He said to Chris.

"Yep..I hear ya."Chris said nodding.
