The origins of the Nun-chuck Bastards can be traced back to 2000, when Aaron, Jeremy, and Kyle had a band of a different name. When Ronnie joined they changed their name to "The Nun-chuck bastards." As most people would leave it as this, and say "The rest is history." and not bother to go farther into the career and history of the Nun-chuck bastards, I will!

The Nun-chuck Bastards played their first show at a garage the summer of their forming, without Jeremy who got kicked out of the band for personal reasons. Soon after, they made a demo at 8-eyed Crowd studios in their locality of Martinsburg, West Virginia. The line-up at this time was Aaron on lead vocals and bass, Ronnie on guitar & Backing vocals, Jeremy on Rhythm guitar, and Kyle on drums. After playing a few shows with this line-up, they met Matt Burns, then guitarist of the band "Cow Tipped" (Who broke up in October of 2002).

Aaron quit the band because of a disagreement with Ronnie, around this time the band had 16 songs and was going to record a full-length CD. He joined again shortly thereafter and stopped showing up to practice on time, after missed practices and another personal problem with Kyle, he was out of the band once more. Aaron finally gave the band an ultimatum - the band could either keep Ronnie or Aaron - and as far as I can tell, the answer was quite obvious, this is mostly because Ronnie is a banana split and Aaron is a plain, drab vanilla cone.

Since Matt Burns knew the band, it was no surprise when they met each other again at a show at the Bedington Ruritan. Matt had been looking for a new band, and as the story goes, they practiced a few times with Matt and thought he would be a great addition to the band.

They played their first show with Matt on vocals after only 2 practice sessions, since then they've played several shows from Baltimore to Gettysburg and all areas in between.

What's interesting about the Nun-chuck bastards is that they write what they want when they want about what they want, instead of trying to be so emotional and fake that they can get girls to sleep with them at the drop of a hat *(note: They get this anyway.).

The band hopes they continue to progress and play more shows. As of January 2004, the band has their CD "Ugly Music for Ugly Kids" out on Blankmind Records, who may also be putting out another CD which will be recorded sometime in the second-quarter of 2004.

The band wishes me to make an addition to this before I put it on the web, it's that remember no matter how bad it gets in West Virginia, there's always at least 3 titty bars within 2 miles of where you're at.
