As in many countries outside the US, the channel markers into French Harbor, on the south coast of Roatan, were confusing. One marker was a crooked stake jammed into the rocks. "Rocks" is the key word here! While deciding whether to take it to port or starboard, we sailed past it and found ourselves on the rocks. Don't you just hate that?
