First I need to go
To the pet food store,
A kilo of rabbit meat for my pussy cat.
The shop keeper says,
See you next week.
She knows I buy that every week.

Get plump whole chicken
That’s going to make a pot of good stock.
For some extra flavour
I buy a bunch of coriander.

Don’t forget some pastadoura rolls,
Those are staff and stapple.

Oh,
The fishmonger is very young and pretty,
As for oysters
I will reserve that when I have a friend over.

Now I need to check the next purveyor,
Grap a few white radishes
For fibres soluble and insoluble.
Pick a dozen red plums
Because they are seasonal
And a couple of mangoes
For a little indulgence.

Think of venturing
To buy several artichokes,
But realising
My bags is already full.
