"Bethany! Wake up!"
Bethany groaned as she rolled over. The sunlight coming through the window was so bright that it made her cringe.
Jessi was standing beside the bed."Come on, you gotta get dressed."
"Don't I even get breakfast first?"she mumbled, squinting up at Jessi.
"Um, you missed breakfast."Jessi grinned."Its lunchtime and Mom wants you to take the kids to the zoo after they eat."
Bethany sat straight up."Lunchtime? Oh my gosh!"She lept out of the bed, shocked that she had slept so long.
Throwing on the first piece of clothing she could find while Jessi snickered, no doubt at her incompetance, Bethany hurried downstairs. There the family was eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
"I'm so sorry!"she exclaimed, running over to Diane."I can't believe I slept that late. I pormise you, it will never happen,"her voice trailed off as she noticed Taylor staring at her with his mouth open.
Then she looked down.
That was when she noticed her shirt. Apparently in her haste, she had mistaken one of Jessi's shirts for her own. The blue babydoll fit her like a second skin, exposing aproximately six inches of stomach.
It was now crystal clear why Jessi had been laughing when she dressed.
Diane merely smiled."Why don't you go upstairs and take a little more time to get dressed, dear. Stop worrying, just take as much time as you need."
Face burning, Bethany quickly headed back to her room.

"Isn't Mallory coming in a couple days?"Zac asked, breaking through Taylor's thoughts, which were most likely ones he shouldn't be having.
Taylor eyed his brother."Yeah. Why?"
Zac's answer was matter-of-fact."Because you might not want to look at Bethany that way while she's here with us. She might get the wrong idea."
"Back off, Zac."Taylor dropped his fork and stormed out of the room.
Isaac stared off at Taylor as he sat down next to Zac with his lunch.
"What's his problem?"Zac muttered.
Isaac salted his pasta."I don't think he wants Mallory to come to Italy with us."
"Then why did he invite her?"Sometimes his brother's baffled Zac. Like now. If he didn't want Talia there, he'd just tell her he needed some time alone. Granted, she'd probably be mad, but at least they would be being honest with each other.
"He probably thinks it'll help him stay away from Bethany."Isaac took a bite, missing Zac's horrified expression.
Talia however didn't.

"The kids have been dying to see the zoo, but I just haven't been up to it,"Diane was explaining.
Bethany stood, silently listening to her instructions and all the while tugging at the bottom of her shirt. After that morning's "incident", she'd found the baggiest piece of clothing that she owned, which happened to be a large black t-shirt that had the Metallica logo on it.
The way Taylor had been looking at her that morning made her cringe, even now just thinking about it. In the previous night's chatter, Jessi had told her all about his girlfriend Mallory, and how they had gotten engaged almost four months ago. Hopefully, he wouldn't forget that.
"We're heading to Italy first thing in the morning,"Diane continued, talking a little louder to make sure Bethany was listening. She seemed to have lost her for a moment.
"That's where we're meeting up with Mallory."Bethany's head snapped up. Mallory was coming? This made her relax.
She wouldn't have to be nervous with Mallory around.
