What's up everyone!? Well I moved
myself and the studio equipment into a loft near downtown Atlanta.
The incredible Forrest Robinson on break from touring with India Arie
and the 5th Dimension flew in to work on some new tunes which was fun.
Along with being one of the top session and touring drummers in the
US, he's a very capable and gifted writer and keyboardist. He's
been working with Will Ackerman from Windham Hill so look out for his
new material.
As for me, I'm writing as usual. I KNOW that I
just put out "Time" but hey I have already started recording some new
music. It will be a while before you hear any of it however.
Enough people have asked so I'll be getting off my behind to play some
shows this summer. Looks like Damon Jefferson will be on drums
again as long as his schedule permits and my boy Matt Stallard will
probably be doing bass duties.
Thanks to everyone for all of their kind words and support.
I DO read ALL of the emails I receive. I apologize for being a
little slow to respond sometimes due to the volume. Thanks for
your patience.

As a lot of you already know I am extremely passionate
about my music and I
have the tendency to sometimes take it a little
TOO SERIOUSLY.
That brings me to the true irony of "World Circus" which is a
song that represents
my intentionally humorous perspective of
modern American life. Now the ironic part
is how SERIOUSLY some of the emails and correspondence I received
are regarding
the song. Never before have I heard such
strong opinions regarding what were
simply my thoughts put to music.
Ah the life of an artist!
On that note I just got an email that it is the
featured song of the day Feb. 8th on
garageband.com. Go
figure! :p
There are some pretty cool things happening despite
things being reasonably quiet.
Elaine Rand over at Deity Records and the
fine folks over at Musicsubmit have been working hard to get the
music out there. I appreciate everyone's efforts from thebottom
of my heart!
