The Practice - Jimmy Berluti

Personal Profile: Jimmy Berliti

Jimmy Berluti is a passionate lawyer, often finding himself trying to prove to others as well as to himself that he is good at what he does. And he is. His heart is at the right place.

This character was introduced in second episode of the first season and was suppose to be in a couple of episodes. But David E. Kelly himself loved the way Michael played Jimmy so much that he decided to make him show's regular.
Jimmy went through a lot. It took him a while to get recognized even by the members of his firm. His big recognition came when he represented the firm when it was sued by the brother of the victim in George's trial, )who was plan B-ed) and won

Michael Badalucco says this about the character he plays: "Jimmy's a great character for me. You know, a guy that makes mistakes trying to figure out where he fits in. He just tries to find out about himself, the kind of guy Jimmy is in the world that he lives in."
