Lucy Hatcher is the secretary that everyone loves to hate. She's a kind of girl who says the first thing that comes to her mind. Which is why everyone regularly groans, "Lucy!!!".
It wasn't until the "Home Invasion" that we saw a nicer side of Lucy. Her landlord had planted video cameras in her apartment and uploaded sensitive videos featuring her onto the Internet. Naturally she was very upset and at the end of the episode she decided it felt safer to stay in the office than go home. Lucy's character was only suppose to be on the show for 7 episodes, but apparently the producers and David E. Kelly himself loved her so much that they decided to make her show's regular.



Marla Sokoloff says this abut her character: "I love Lucy, but I'm pretty uncomfortable with her short skirts and tight tops... The show is so serious. Lucy brings on the comedy. She really feels she's holding the whole firm together."
