Hello and a warm welcome to the premises home page! The Premises are a midlands four piece formed in February 2003. The line-up consists of- Vocals/guitarist Sam Draper, Bass Player Paul Little, Drummer Ste Williams and Lead guitarist, Paul Marriott. We have quite a large variety of material, most of which you can read about on the our music page. Some of it will be available for sample download sooner or later I’m sure. As a band The Premises have played a number of gigs in the midlands area and are always producing and recording new material. With current representation from Essential Sounds watch this space for further updates. Anyway, that’s all from us - enjoy the site!

 This is how much I drank prior to our last gig |
Some of you may know that we will be debuting our material on the May ESR1 CD. To follow this up we have decided to produce a 4 track EP that will be called "Summer is too Distant". The material for this has been determined and recording is set to start on Friday 13th of February, of all days. Apologies to the female race, we will not be available on the day after this so you will have to make do with an inferior being. Having being home from uni for christmas we managed to get together a couple times and toy about with some of the stuff that Sam had being writing over the first semester, and I must say, it's sounding very promising. No gigs lined up at present but we are working on it and will hopefully getting something arranged for Whitsun/Easter. These dates will be posted on here but I think we are staying in the Midlands for these ones. Paul Little continues to be the financial security for the group as he goes on to buy random items that he rarely uses! Recent purchases include a Yamaha DT Express electronic drumkit, various pedals that no one knows how to use and some random cables that clog up Paul Marriots garage. Good news folks! We now have representation from Essential Sounds! Yep thats right they are a Welsh based record company and we should be featuring on the labels CD release in May sometime (assuming all goes to plan).
