The Multi-Spread Offense

Hello and welcome to my Multiple Formation, Spread Offense home on the Internet. The purpose of this site is to examine the multi-spread offense as a concept in football at all levels from high school to the NFL.  The goal of this presentation is to demonstrate the multi-spread offense as, not just a series of formations and plays, but an entire offensive scheme.  To this end, I am presenting the offensive system in its entirety, including the philosophy and terminology behind it.  You'll find many of the pages complemented by graphics; I think the illustrations are very important to understanding the concepts.
This system was developed through my experience playing football, the ideas of countless numbers of coaches and teams, and the continuous output of strange ideas that circulate through my football brain.  As a result, I have been updating this page as frequently as I can--it's not yet complete (and given my propensity to change and update, probably never will be...), but as it has always been said, patience is a virtue.  Thanks for bearing with me as I take a bunch of abstract ideas and try to put them into a coherent web site.  Many thanks to those who contributed in some way or another to this project.
