I'm Josh, the guitarist in Progeny. I got interested in guitar when I was in 7th grade, but I seriously pursued the guitar when our youth group started a praise and worship band at our church. While in that band me, the bassist, and the temporary drummer started a band. We were now in search of a lead singer. One who worshiped God and shared the same views we did. We tried several singers but the one God had for us was one of our friends, Jacob. We started practicing a lot and thus, Progeny was born. Our goal is to be joint-heirs with christ and for others to see Christ through us while we are playing. Our main goal is to serve him in all we do.
