What Did he Say!?!:
Here is an assortment of things Dan has said about his experiences as an actor, things he's done and just plain old Dan quotes.

"I think everyone can relate to Harry in one way or another. I can relate to Harry in other ways but not in that fashion. I'm loyal, I enjoy being with lots of peoples, but I kind of enjoy being on my own. I am curious, I am not afraid to stand up for myself."
Daniel Radcliffe.

Quotes Relating Harry Potter:
"It's been such a blast, because Rupert Grint, who plays Ron, and I were suspended way up in the air for a week."

"There's this one scene where Rupert tips a whole box of jelly beans into his mouth and he gets loads of disgusting ones!"

"Ron's funnier than Robin Williams. The hard thing is not to laugh when the camera is rolling."

"It's good to be back filming. I just put on my glasses and then I became Harry again."

"I think I'm a tiny bit like Harry 'cos I'd like to have an owl. Yeah, that's the tiny bit, actually."

"I read the first one when I was eight or nine. I'd never really liked reading any books, because I had a hard time sitting down and concentrating on a book. My friends were the real fanatics. I really enjoyed them but I wasn't really obsessed. But then I got the part and now, I am completely obsessed."

"I like his curiosity and his loyalty. And his magic powers, too. He's so serious, but at the same time he can be very funny."

"The train-compartment scenes were the most fun, because it was just me, Rupert and Emma, surrounded by sweets, just laughing and joking the whole time."

"Alan Rickman is very nice. He's so good at playing evil Professor Snape. He's also got a very dry wit. In the Potions lesson I had to keep reminding myself it wasn't real, it's only a film, because he's very scary in it."

"The Every Flavor Beans were great because they really did taste of all different flavours. And the Cauldron Cakes-- they were made of marzipan with sprinkles on them. When I took a bite I got really bad indigestion."

About the Harry Potter Premiere/s:
"I was really, really pleased. I hate watching myself. But I was kind of able to enjoy the film thanks to the direction, obviously the story and the script, and especially the cast. They kind of allowed me to sit back as if I wasn't in it. Again I cried." But before anyone got to another question, Radcliffe yells out, "But I'm not a wimp! DON'T PRINT THIS!"

"I am almost numb with nerves and that has never happened before," he said. "I woke up last night at 3 a.m., 4 a.m., and 6 a.m., and although I am very nervous I am also extremely excited and happy today."

About Making Seven Harry Potter Films:
"But I don't think it's going to happen. I don't think I'll do all of them - I'll probably get too spotty or too tall or I'll shrink or something."

About the Film Moulin Rouge:
"I couldn't have done it. I can't sing. I could do the snogging Nicole Kidman bit. I doubt I'd be hard pressed to do that! When I see a great part, I wish I'd been alive so I could have done it."

About Finding he had got the Part of Harry Potter:
"I was in the bath at the time and my dad came running in and said, 'Guess who they want to play Harry Potter?' And I started to cry. It was probably the best moment of my life"

About Dan Getting to Play Harry Potter:
"It's very strange because a lot of the other boys in my class know that I've only read the one or two books - but these boys are total fanatics, they've read all four and stuff. I think they're a bit angry, because I've read the least Harry Potter in my class."

About the Most Annoying Thing he has to do when he's Famous:
"If I had to pick one it's writing the autographs. It's not the actual writing of the autographs but the fact that my name is too long. I'm going to try work to get a quicker signature."

About Some of the Pranks he Played on Set:
"I didn't think it was funny at the time but changing Robbie Coltranes cell phone to turkish was very funny."

Misc:
"When I get into trouble at school I'd like to take an invisibility cloak, drape it over me and sneak out the door. Or I'd like to have a three-headed dog, because then no one would argue with me."

"I'm not much of a cake person"

"I don't mind being around girls. Some boys my age just tease them and I just don't get that."

"I'm not clumsy, I'm just accident-prone."

"People tell me I look mournful. They say, 'Cheer up, Dan, it's not that bad!' Sometimes I just look into space, which freaks people out. If I was ever required to do anything other than look haunted, I could. I'm a happy person. Though I don't, like, dot my I's with hearts or anything - that would be too happy."

"I don't read press articles and my mum and dad have just told me to enjoy it - I think that is the best thing. There are a lot of worse things to worry about in this world than being recognised."

"My best friend at school, Alex Berman, is a fanatic about Harry Potter. I believe he's read the fourth book six or eight times, which is pretty impressive. Almost every night after the movie started, we'd talk on the phone, and I'd tell him what scenes we had filmed."

"I think my earliest memory of acting was playing a monkey in a school play, when I was about six. I had floppy ears and orange makeup and I had to wear tights. I think I went on and danced around for about 40 seconds or something. I hope nobody ever digs up a picture of me in that, because it was embarrassing."

Daniel, who had come straight from the Harry Potter set, was asked about Harry's scar, "I see no scar, are you really the boy who defeated the Dark One?" asked Stephen Fry. Daniel replied "Yes, but I've left it in the dressing room".

"After I read a script about three times, it sinks into my head. With Harry Potter, it took about six times because it was a lot bigger."

"I like science and I love gym. Oh, and I like art, but I'm really bad at it. I'm just a terrible drawer. I can't draw a circle. Even with a ruler, I can't draw a straight line."

"Carson Daly said to me 'Look outside.' So I went out, and there was this girl with a huge plank saying 'Nothing could come between me and Harry Potter.' And she was wearing nothing but a towel."

"I like listening to music. I like keeping fit. I run, I run a lot. I do pressups and things, I do football and I do all kinds of sports. What else do I do... I play PlayStation a lot. A lot"
