The Crew of The Lexx
So who is that Dead Guy, Kai?
What's up with the Fool in the Red Jumpsuit?
Another TV talking head...and who does it love?

Kai is the Last of the
Brunnen-G. The
Brunnen-G were a race of romantic dreamers that had descended from
Brunnis.
The original Brunnen-G defeated the bugs in
the Great Insect war millenia earlier and saved all human races from
insect
domination. The original planet Brunnis, however, was a dying planet
whose
sun was becoming a red giant that would eventually go Supernova.
The people of Brunnis built a system
of
satellites
that kept the sun in check until they could find
and settle on a new
planet
in a stable solar system.
There they lived peacefully, if not dully,
on Brunnis II until the Divine Order discovered them and destroyed
their
planet with the Foreshadow...
Kai was the last pilot of the final Brunnen-G
attack wave. He crashed into the Foreshadow and survived and then
killed at the hands of His Divine Shadow-
but not before he saw his planet destroyed under him.
Instead of disposing of Kai's body,
His
Divine
Shadow decreed that "This last remnant of a race of romantic dreamers"
merited punishment
beyond death. Kai was sent to the
bio-scholars
and turned into a Divine Assassin, kept alive by protoblood.
"I'm Stan...'Your man' Tweedle."
The
assistant-backup-deputy-courier became the
"Arch Traitor" Stanley Tweedle.
Originally part of the Ostral-B Heretics, he
surrendered the amino acid codes that enabled
His Shadow to destroy 100
Reform planets.
(Ok, it was more like 94...or something like
that!)
Stanley was duped and tortured by the Sub-Nebulas
(Sub-N's) and forced to give up the codes.
The Divine Order rewarded Tweedle by making him
a Class Four Security Guard.
Despite his constant bumbling, Stan was never
demoted since "Class Four is already the lowest".
""How
biological of you!"
The 790 series
of robotic drones are made of
electronics
and human parts,
with a small cube of human brain in his head
that enables it to perform somewhat like a human slave.
They do all of the service work throughout the
Light Universe.
This 790 robot head has some very
obsessive-compulsive
psychotic traits---
left overs from his Love Slave programming.
This in part
drives him to compose and recite very bad poetry
about the object of its unrequited love
and forever dream up schemes to eliminate any
possible rivals.
