The Xev-olution of Zev!
Part II
So...just how did Zev of B3K (The Blonde)
become Xev of B3K (The Redhead/Strawberry Blonde)?
In one of the most tear-jerking endings ever put on television,
Zev meets her end while trying to rescue Kai, The Dead Assassin,
from the clutches of the Evil Doctors on the MedSat Medical Satellite.
This all happens in "Terminal" (S2 V1 a.k.a. Ep 2.2).

When Captain Stan tries to "revive" Kai from his cryochamber, our butter-fingered Captain
messes it up and Kai pulverizes Stan's heart with his brace.
The damage to Stan is too much even for the medical equipment aboard the Lexx.
Zev realizes that they cannot control the Lexx without the key and acts quickly.
After Zev gets the key, she and Kai freeze Stan in the cryopod until help can be found.

Zev instructs 790 to find medical help in any form he can. After a long search,
790 locates a medical facility...MedSat.
 |
"Sorry. MedSat does NOT take credit!"
They contact the satellite and ask for assistance. MedSat demands payment up front
(some things are the same in ALL universes, eh?) and our crew have nothing to trade.
Zev begs the nurse to let them aboard, but the policy makes no exceptions.
But Zev has the key to the Lexx.

With the demonstartion complete, MedSat welcomes the crew of the Lexx.
But the doctors on MedSat know what the Lexx is and plot to get the key from Zev.

"Surrender the key to ME!" xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"NEVER!"
 |
 |
D r. Kazan's technique brings Zev to the edge of death.
But our heroine is no ordinary human.
Her Cluster Lizard DNA is activated.
Meanwhile...

Dr. Kazan's partners try to kill Kai by directing MedSat's energy beams at him.
The process looks promising and they decide to put an end to Kai
But Zev escapes and finds them.
 |
 |
Zev arrives but it is almost too late. In desperation, Zev rolls over to Kai
and knocks him out of the chamber, but becomes trapped herself.
Kai recovers and disposes of the evil doctors.
 |

Lizard barbeque. Kai and Stan are helpless.
But it is too late to save Zev. Stan and Kai can only watch as Zev disintegrates into orange goo.

Zev returns the key to Stan and then he and Kai return Zev to her home aboard the Lexx.
That's how Zev died...
but in the next episode, named "Lyekka", (Ep 2.3) a strange plant lady
infiltrates the Lexx and repays Stan's kindness
to her by consuming the astronauts from Potataho and Zev's DNA to create "Xev".

Stan and Kai can't believe it. Neither can 790. But the robot head
can tell "True Love."
 |

And that's how Zev, who became Zev, became Xev!
In S3, Xev remains but it takes 2,000 years for her hairstyle to change.
