Tour dates for Summer 2001 are here

The entire Scott Barnes Band is currently not playing shows, but Scott has been doing some small solo shows. Here you can find the setlists and reviews of the five shows he did throughout June of 2000. The shows were to introduce the music of the Scott Barnes Band to people who felt like hearing it.

For this little 'show', Scott used his Fender Strat electric guitar. For most songs he made it sound as if it were an acoustic guitar, but in his solo before "Watchtower", he turned up the gain and bass to make some really cool effects.

**NOTES**
This second show of the day was inside and late in the evening.
The song "Trippin' Much" is a little jam that Scott put together.
It's a mix of two Dave Matthews Band songs, "Tripping Billies" and "Too Much".
Scott was in a great mood and talked to his 'audience' quite a bit. It was a very fun time!

**NOTES**
For this show, Scott used his Rodriguez C1 Classical guitar. This is the best show Scott has done so far. A couple of Scott's friends, Ben and Jeff, set up lights and even a backdrop behind where Scott was sitting. The show was recorded onto tape, not that good quality, however. "Is The Last Stop, Is Not The Last Stop" is a song Scott made up. It's a mix of Soul Coughing's "Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago" and DMB's "The Last Stop". Fun show! Definitely the best so far!

Two Step

~ w/ Chad Seppala and Jeff Ambrose on Vocals

**NOTES**
For this show, Scott used both his Fender and his Rodriguez. The audience was very rowdy! Chad and Jeff sang on Amazing Grace. Scott did Two Step as the last song in his 'encore', left, and came back out and picked up Two Step in the middle of the song and did a 5 minute jam. These last two shows have been great! Scott would like to thank his crew, Andy, Chad, and Jeff, for helping him out at the shows.

**NOTES**
Scott had a lot of energy tonight since it was his first time playing a show in 114 days. He used his Rodriguez Classical guitar a little bit, but he mostly stuck with his new Ovation Applause Acoustic/Electric guitar. The audience seemed to really like the SBB original material, and also got into "All Along the Watchtower." And once everybody recognized "Big Pimpin' " they 'sang' the words for Scott. It was a very fun show for both the audience and Scott.

**NOTES**
Scott and his dad, Jim (who plays piano), put on a small show for friends and family on Christmas Day. Everybody in attendance sang along during the Christmas songs. Scott had a small solo during the 10-minute "New York, New York" which was followed by a solo of his dad's. The two played a minute intro to "Ants Marching" and then went right into "Cheeseburger in Paradise". Everyone was in good spirits and had a great time. Happy Holidays, everyone!

********Scott's really looking forward to 2001. He's written many new songs and has improved some of the old ones. He's aslo excited about playing some new covers. Without a doubt, these shows will be much better than the shows of 2000!*******

This was one of the best shows Scott has done! The audience seemed to really love the music like no other crowd has before. Climb On is an improvisational intro to Two Step that Scott made up. Everyone had a lot of fun, and Scott played many songs that people requested during the show. The shows just keep on getting better and better!

**NOTES**
This was a short show, but was still a lot of fun.  Scott also introduced the newest member of the Band, Nick Kidd.  Nick played a couple songs on acoustic guitar as Scott became a member of the audience.  Scott plans on playing an entire show with Nick in the very near future.  We're all looking forward to it!
