About

Environmentalism is a concern or course of action that stresses the importance of preserving, restoring, or improving the natural environment.

The natural environment is constantly changing. Only those species that are able to adapt will survive. To say that human intervention is not natural is an oxymoron as human developments are just as natural as that of a beaver constructing a dam or a bird using a stick as a digging tool.

This website does not promote environmentalism in the sense of preserving, restoring, or improving the natural environment - but rather an environment in which human beings may flourish in. The information contained in these pages are for the selfish environmentalist - a new way of thinking that focuses on how humans, through their actions, can debunk their inevitable destruction if industrial society and mentality continue their paths. This new way of thinking will not ask the question 'How can I save the Earth?' but rather 'How can I save humanity?'.

If a new life-form were to emerge that instead of consuming air, water, and plant matter to survive, it relied on dioxin, oil, and mercury - would we as humans continue to support the proliferation of such a being at the cost of our own existence? The answer lies in the reality revealing quote by the famous poet, philosopher, and historian, Friedrich Schiller - "The world is governed by self interest only."

It is time to shift away from the heavy-handed, guilt strung, bash over the head with a mallet, ways of educating that old environmentalism teachings were famous for and instead focus on how we can better ourselves as individuals and as a species through improving our surrounding environment.

This is Selfish Environmentalism.
