The Dangerous Blood Clan has been utterly and completely destroyed during a suprise attack by the Vampires. Vastly outnumbered, the Clan was literally killed where they stood. It was their belief that Werewolves should not hide from conflict with the humans and the vampires. They fought to the last, the bodies of the dead covering the ground in a shroud. It is rumored though, that one of their kind still lives. His name is Allta Croí.
The history of the Baolach Fuil is almost as extensive as that of the An Siorai Cruinne. Being sister clans, these two groups of Werewolves had many similarities. Unfortunately it was their differences which brought the Baolach Fuil to an untimely end. The values of the Dangerous Blood clan lay in loyalty and bravery. From a small age, the young Baolach Fuil warriors are taught humility and courage. In the Codex of Shapes it is written that long ago, the Alpha of the Baolach Fuil challanged the Goddess of Terror or the White Lady. Every summer since there is a mock battle held between the males in the clan to symbolize and pay respect to the White Lady. After a cub is born, the father takes the child beneath the light of the next full moon and cuts his palm with a ceremonial knife that is passed down in each family. With his blood he marks the symbols of the Dangerous Blood Clan on the face of the child. This blessing is supposed to always protect the child from darkness and fear.
Colaborating with their sister clan, the Baolach Fuil also follow the teachings of the Codex of Shapes. Tradition states that the Dangerous Blood Clan gathers on the night of the Harvest Moon to ask of things from the Gods and Goddesses. When morning comes, those whose blessings have been granted adorn their doors with the blood of a fresh kill. This is in respect to The White Lady, goddess of terror. This is followed by a celebration and cooking of the meat.
The Baolach Fuil wear very little in decoration as most Werewolves do. The head male in each clan wears the family knife which is mentioned above. Sometimes cloaks are worn in times of worship or in times of war. Sometimes earrings are worn to show ranking.
The only member of the Dangerous Blood Clan said to be left in existence is Allta Croí. Before the battle other famous members included the Lady ShiningGuard, known for often communicating with the netherworld and KhaosWeaver the insane prophet. |
