There are several things you can do if you would like to join.

1) You can sign our guestbook and tell us which character(s) you would like. This is assuming you first looked at our rules page and you fully understand and comply with them, and also the characters' page to find out which characters are taken or not.

2) You can leave a comment in one of the moderator's personal journals. Leave a comment for LB or Leave a comment for Phoebe

3) You can email one of the moderators. This is probably your easiest and quickest option, since we check our emails all the time. Email Phoebe or Email LB

Things We'll Need From You:

Your contact information. Give us a working email address, and an AIM screenname where we can reach you.

The character(s) you wish to play. If your character is an OC (original character), give us some background information on the character. What do they look like? Where did they come from? etc.

If you need help in deciding what canon character to be, please refer to the Encyclopedia Of Arda for information on lots of characters in Tolkien's works.

After You Are Approved:

You will then be allowed to make a journal (or journals) at GreatestJournal for your character(s). Please do not make a journal before being approved. Then comment in the Shadows Of Mordor Community Journal with your journal, and we will add you to the community. If you have more than one journal/character, please just use one journal to comment with, but link to the other journals in that same comment. If you are adopting a character that has been given up, that character may or may not have a journal already. If they do, then you will be given the login name and password of that journal.

If you are having problems creating a journal, ask one of the mods and they'll either help you or create a journal for you and give you the password.
