Place the phrase: Hold for A.T. Thru-Hiker somewhere on the package. If in doubt, always send to the next mail drop. Send at least 10 days in advance.
Below are our tentative mail drops. We will try to stay on schedule as much as possible, but we don't want to let time or a rigid schedule dictate how much we enjoy the trail. I will try to keep my sister informed about our whereabouts as much as possible, and she can include this info on our journal page. Care packages or letters are always much appreciated, but keep in mind whatever you send we'll have to carry! Always refer back to this page before mailing us anything, these maildrops may change before our actual departure.
**NOTE: Maildrops posted in Bold are places of business that accept maildrops. We will be using their services, therefore they will hold our mail for us. When sending mail to these places put the complete address, and our names on the packages. All other maildrops are general deliveries sent to post offices. ALWAYS put "hold for A.T thru-hiker" on ALL packages.
