Chasmgliders are the evil counterparts of spiredrakes and. They live in the huge chasm named "Thedor's Anger" near Windstead. They are about 11 to 12 feet tall with wings that can extend to twice their height. Their bodies are covered in rough dark blue to black scales that grant an excellent protection. Their heads are long and narrow and their necks are covered with sharp spikes that run down their back. Although they're not superior to spiredrakes, they are ferocious and cunning. They always attack any spiredrake they encounter and fight to kill. It is almost as if they derive pleasure from it. The malign, evil intelligence of these beasts is truly frightening.
