Class Features: Weapon and Armor Proficiency: All Simple and Martial weapons, Light and Medium Armor. Strength of Thunder: The Lord of Thunder imbues his children with the strength of thunder. Whenever a Son of Thunder rages, treat his medium sized off hand weapon as if it were 1 size category smaller (effectively making it a light off hand weapon). Therefore, all sons of thunder can fight with two medium sized weapons without suffering heavy penalties. This ability only works during rage. Whirling Blades: Like a fierce storm of metal, the son of thunder confuses his foe with mad slashing blades. When wielding two weapons, you can designate a melee opponent during your action and receive a +1 dodge bonus to your Armor Class against attacks from that opponent. You can select a new melee opponent on any action. A condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose this bonus. This bonus increases to +2 at level 5 and +3 at level 8. Rolling Thunder: The Son of Thunder learns to slowly build up his rage and to increase his stamina. This allows him to enter another state of rage immediately after his rage ends. He doesn't suffers from fatigue, he just 'rolls' from one rage into another. Rage +1/day: At level 3, the number of times a Son of Thunder can rage each day increases by one. This happens again at level 7. Improved two weapon fighting: The Son of Thunder gets this feat for free. Roar of Thunder: The Son of Thunder can roar a thunderous battlecry that adds power to his attack. Once per day, a Son of Thunder of 6th level or higher may attempt to roar with one normal melee attack. He adds his Constitution modifier (if positive) to his attack roll and deals 1 extra point of damage per level. At level nine, the Son of Thunder can use this ability twice per day. Superior two weapon fighting: The Son of Thunder gets this feat for free. |
