Necropolis
Standing at the edge of the Rock Desert is an old city, once thriving with life, but now plagued with death. Most of the buildings are ruins, uninhabitable and partially buried under the sand of the nearby Deep Desert. Its inhabitants lay buried beneath the sand waiting... because not even in death could they find peace. This town is the source of the Walking Dead Plague that scorches the land of AranoX. The supply of mad and hungry, flesh eating ghouls seems endless. Luckily, only small bands of walking dead roam far beyond the city limits. Somehow they seem to want to stay in their former home, somehow they content with waiting...
In the center of this macabre city stands a tall purple citadel. It is a silent witness to the horror that has befallen the people of this city. Bearing the scars of the city's downfall, it is the only building that still stands erect. Its massive front doors are closed and wait patiently to be opened once more.
But so are the walking dead, patient and waiting.

The immediate area around the impressive citadel. The entire town is buried underneath the sand but most buildings have two stories, or have rooftops that stick out above the sand. These few remains are testimonies to the grandeur that the city once possessed. More secrets lie buried beneath the sands of Necropolis than one could possible hope to discover in a lifetime. Meanwhile, the mysterie of how the city became the way it is now, still remains unsolved.

Take a look inside the citadel.
