Character Description: Brianna Belmont

0. Is this a Player Character (your character) or a Non-Player Character run by you?

Brianna Belmont is a player character, her Companion Char Aznable is an NPC.

1. What does your character look like? Your companions?

This is a player character run by “Brianna” (known to my college chums as Starscream)
Brianna is about 5 feet 2 inches tall (give or take an inch.) She has a “café au lait”
complexion, with black curly hair that’s pretty short (at its longest it sort of makes a halo
around her head.) Her figure is extremely curvaceous (like, zaftig) with generous hips
and a prominent bosom. She is fairly fit and not flabby, but not too muscular either. The
most striking thing about her are her eyes – they are an incongruously bizarre, intense
blue. More about why this is later.

Her companion of the moment (and don’t get too attached to him, folks) is Char
Aznable. Char is a gorgeous man, with a light complexion of a golden cast. His hair is
an intense yellow blond, which he wears combed back and long in the back, with one
cute strand that falls over his forehead. He is an anime (Japanese cartoons) character,
so depending on the universe his eyes can appear dinner-plate huge to just sort of
bigass wide. In most non-cartoon universes, his eyes are somewhat Asian in shape
(like, he has an epicanthic fold. Look it up.) When you look at him, you can tell that he
has strong Asian ancestry, but also Northern European (think Axis crossover.) His eye
color is blue. (Deeper than usual, but not freakish like Brianna’s.) He is about 6 feet 2
inches tall, broad shoulders, muscular and well-formed, but not overly so. (He’s athletic
but not an athlete.)

2. What is your character’s actual age and age of appearance? Your companions?

Brianna is very young for a Time Lord. She’s not much over 50 or so. She appears to be
in her mid to late 20’s. Char is in his early to mid-thirties, and looks it, though one would
think he looks good for that age.

3. What is your character’s species and universe of origin?

Brianna is, as we mentioned, a Time Lord. She was born on Gallifrey, but she grew up
among the Fremen in the Dune universe. (She lived in a seitch, which is a Fremen
settlement, with her aunt Fatma Jezzel Saad. ) When Brianna was about 18, she went to
the Bene Gesserit school on Wallach IX (more on this later.) Her first assignment for the
CIA was as Valerie, of Josie and the Pussycats. Since then, Brianna spends most of her
time in Cartoon Universes. More on this later. Think of her as a ‘toon.’

Char is a homo sapiens from the Japanese cartoon series Mobile Suit Gundam (the first
three series). In his continuity, this particular Char comes from the end of the movie
“Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack.” He was a bad guy. More later…

4. What is the name of your character’s ship or vehicle?

Brianna travels in a TARDIS of the same type as the Starbucket, which means she can
travel between universes as well as through time. The TARDIS is called the “Bismillah.”
Char travels with her, and if he wants to visit a universe by himself, she drops him off
and picks him up.

5. Does your character have any particular colors associated with him/her? How about
companions?

Brianna’s favorite color is purple. She usually walks around in a lavender flight jumpsuit.

Char isn’t really oriented towards any one color. But he likes to wear extremely stylish
and expensive clothes. He is usually seen in a very sharp, designer suit. If he has to
wear something scruffier, it will be the most expensive and stylish of whatever it is it has
to be. (Did you ever see Princess Di in the minefields? She was in jeans and a shirt, but
you know they weren’t cheap.)

6. List some adjectives that describe your character’s personality. Likewise for
companions.

Brianna: Lawful Good, Lawful Good, Lawful Good. Optimistic. Horny. Ethical. Fertile.
Bisexual.

Char: Lawful Evil. Idealistic. Machiavellian. Aloof. Witty. Heterosexual. (Really!)

7. What is your character good at? Bad at? What particular areas of expertise? What
about companions?

Brianna is mainly a badass fighter pilot. She can fly F-14’s, F-15’s, Robotech Veritech
fighters, X-Wing fighters, and most anime mecha. She is a fully-trained Bene Gesserit,
with extraordinary mental disciplines which she uses to control such things as fear,
fatigue, and pain. She is pretty good at hand-to-hand combat. She was a Security Chief
on an alternate Enterprise (TNG era) so she knows a lot about 24th century weapons.
She is very mechanically inclined. She is also well-versed in the rules and traditions of
Cartoon Universes.

She is bad at maintaining her self-control when it comes to lust. She will sleep with
anyone who strikes her fancy, with only slight regard for the consequences. She is also
a bad judge of character – she keeps shacking up with Evil guys and is surprised when
they act Evil. Her idealism and Lawful Goodness sometimes blind her to the most
expedient way of getting something done. She is occasionally prone to existential angst,
but is a basically (Perhaps relentlessly) cheerful person.

Char is mainly a Mobile Suit pilot of the highest order. Mobile Suits are giant mechanical
exoskeletons used in space combat. He is also pretty good at hand-to-hand, and has
basic knowledge of martial arts, but prefers to charm his opponents rather than pummel
them.

Char’s main flaw is that he is willing to achieve his goals at any cost. He will break any
number of eggs to make an omelet. Also, he is a little self-centered – he has a little
trouble respecting human rights.

8. What special magical/metapsychic/surly/etc. powers does your character have?
Your companions?

Brianna’s main metaphysical power is that, depending on the universe she is in, she has
a Good Guy Field. Mainly in Cartoon, and highly stylized Fantasy universes, this means
she is nearly impossible to hit with a projectile weapon, and in any highly dangerous
environment, she is very unlikely to get physically hurt. This ability diminishes with the
realism of the universe she is in. (It works better in the GI Joe universe than in Japanese
anime universes, for example.)

As a Bene Gesserit, Brianna has a nearly-metaphysical ability known as The Voice. By
pitching her voice a certain way, she can coerce someone into doing anything she
wants, like a hypnotic suggestion. There may be a strong psychic component in this.
Also, in the Highlander universe (you’ll see this soon enough!) she has all the powers of
an Immortal – she heals quickly, can probably only be killed by beheading (we suppose
she’d regenerate after the Quickening, though) and…she can hide any size bladed
weapon on her person, regardless of how skimpy or tight her outfit is (see her hide a
broadsword in a bikini!)

Char is a low-level metapsychic, mainly a telekinetic. Mobile Suits are piloted by means
of telekinesis. However, he doesn’t usually manifest TK outside a Suit. We suppose he
would have to receive some sort of training in order to do so. His skills are very
specialized.

9. What weapons does your character usually use? Companions?

Brianna will favor weapons from her home universes. She will use Fremen weirding
modules (only the movie, Dune fans..) or Star Trek phasers (from the TNG and later
eras), or GI Joe guns (which look like pistols, but somehow only shoot lasers), or
Robotech guns. She generally avoids edged weapons, but in the Highlander universe
she does carry a truly enormous two-handed broadsword (‘cause she’s a broad!)

Char will carry a discreet, stylish and expensive handgun. He likes large caliber.
However, he will use whatever’s at hand.

10. What are your character’s usual attack methods? Companions?

Brianna is Lawful Good, so she usually goes for a frontal attack, perhaps with a “YO
JOE!” battle cry if appropriate.

Char, being Lawful Evil, in one-on-one human encounters, prefers a sneak attack,
preferably using minions that can’t be traced to him. However, he won’t pass up a good
outer-space dogfight.

11. What, if any, relatives and friends are there that might show up in a story?

Brianna has a large family, and many old friends. Here are only a few of the most
commonly encountered.

Freddie Mercury: Friend, half-Time Lord, ex-lover, CIA agent, erstwhile lead singer of
Queen
Montserrat Caballe: Friend, Opera singer, Fred’s companion

Starscream: Ex-Companion. Chaotic Evil. Screaming Queen. Nasty and Bitchy.
Complicated history. All you need to know is that he started life as a huge 50-foot tall 5-
million-year-old robot that could transform into an F-15 Fighter Jet. Then, by complex
reasons of the plot, he was metamorphosed into a small, well-formed, pretty gay man
with a bad attitude. Then, by means of more plot, he was restored to his original form.
That is how you will encounter him today. Now lives in Char’s home universe (Mobile
Suit Gundam) with Roy Fokker.

Ravage: Starscream’s cousin. A mechanical Doberman, about 10 feet tall. Has the
voice of Graham Chapman. Urbane, witty, Oscar Wilde-like. Yes, somehow he has sex
with Starscream. Don’t think about it too hard.

Brianna has numerous children, mostly sons. Most of these were born while Brianna
was in her previous regeneration as Airfoil (see below.)
Lancer: the oldest. Drag queen, rock star, freedom fighter against oppressive aliens in
his home universe (Robotech). His father is Starscream (from when he was human.)
Now a CIA agent with own TARDIS. His companion is the android Lore from Star Trek, fitted with the Three Laws of Robotics.

Jon Anderson: Flaky rock star. Aging Hippie, lead singer of Yes. Actually, Brianna was
his father, Starscream his mother (bad genderfuck situation. We may post the story for
those of you who never read it.) Also CIA, on the “Bigass Motherfucking Generator” (aka Big Generator) with numerous rock star companions.

Alcibiades and Amber March: twins, fathered by Aiken Drum. Al was a wacky maverick general in Fifth Century Athens. (Look him up!) Amber is a woman, but she is the reincarnation of a man, and is bi. She is the reincarnation of the Arthurian hero Tristan, from the comic book Camelot 3000.

Other children include: David Lister, from Red Dwarf, fathered by Arnold Rimmer.
There’s one more, we can’t remember. It’ll turn up eventually.

Brianna also has siblings:

C’raig, the Dragonrider (he rides BROWN) and his weyrmate, Tiffani
Lt. Chris Kim, of the Robotech: The Sentinels Universe
Lee Shin Ok, a Korean princess from Medieval Times (the story hasn’t been written yet,
so you don’t remember her. This sister hadn’t been born when we were in college!)

12. Is there any prior history that we should know about your character? Companions?

Brianna’s History, in a nutshell. It’s not as complicated as many other Time Lords,
because she’s so young.

After growing up in the Dune Universe, Brianna joined the CIA and was Valerie of Josie
and the Pussycats. She was killed when a light rig fell on her head, which destroyed
much of her brain.

When she regenerated, she was Airfoil. Her brain took her entire regeneration to grow
back, so she was very dumb. She joined the cartoon outfit known as GI JOE and much
of her history is chronicled in the original Starbucket stuff. We hope to post much of it to
this site someday. Right now, just know that Starscream (as a human) was her
companion, and Ravage was her pet. (His doggie!) Oh, yes, and Starscream knew Fred
from quite early on. In fact, most of Starscream’s mannerisms and lifestyle he learned
from Fred.

Airfoil was killed by her nemesis, a ninja assassin named Antigone. When she
regenerated, she became Brianna Belmont. That was also around the time Starscream
got his mechanical body back. Starscream left as the companion with Ravage, and
Brianna acquired Char.

Char was the leader of a rebellion of space station inhabitants against Earth. He was
ruthless and charismatic, and the arch-foe of his universe’s Good Guy. Char was
ostensibly killed in a climactic battle with the Good Guy at the end of the movie “Char’s Counterattack,” but Brianna rescued him and now he’s living with her. She trusts him. Maybe she shouldn’t.
