Asha


	Asha - my Aunt's eldest daughter. My first cousin, my friend, she is very adorable and the closest to a sis that I have. We have loads of fun whenever we get together and I am warning you just let us become a team and there is no one who can withstand our brute attack! She's 6 months elder to me and doing her TYC in Ruia's (I joined school earlier). So that way I am her senior :) Nothing to compete for, she is doing arts and me in engineering. She plans to do a M.Phil in life. She's also learning cooking and I happen to be her favorite Guinea Pig :) (Nevermind Sis, If you are reading this, I am kidding, you're a good cook!!)

Mitu


	Mitu - my school mate, my friend. Well what can I say, God didnt give me any sisters to grow up with, so I found them in friends. Mitu, better known as Soumyata Narula (her parents put that name :D) is ...... what can I say, is everything I needed to survive bombay. She gives me support when I need it, her busy schedule reminds me there are people more busy than I am :D :D, and she even gets me hot dates for Discs once in a while. This started out as one of those schooltime relations which generally dont work out, well, what do you know, this one did !!! Mitu, U rock!! Mitu did her B.A. in Journalism from LSR, Delhi. Later she did an Advanced diploma course in Movie making and advertisements from St.Xaviers and is now pursuing her career as Asst. Director in Nina Gupta Productions.

Shweta Puri

Shweta Puri


	Shweta Puri - the perfect one. I met her by chance on Internet. She is an all rounder, you name it, she's got it. To describe her in one phrase would be naming her a Fairy Tale Princess. She used to live in Indore. After completing her studies from IET-DAVV, she was all set to join up wipro last year. As they differed her for a few months, she fought hard for GRE and management courses and finally made it to University of Texas, Arlington. We met 7 times, and that was sufficient for making me go Cuckoo!. Well not every tale is a fairy tale, and this wasnt one either. Things should never be perfect, our's is an imperfect world after all!! We as US didnt work out and it was the hardest thing to get over, yet it was a whole new learning experience. I'll write more abt it in History section, till then, kindly adjust!

Jinx


	Jinx, sometimes known as Anupama Kamath There are some people who are free, and always fun to be with; Jinx is one of them. Rarely I have found a worthy opponent in terms of wits and on the spot creativity. Combine this right mix with beauty and you get Jinx. She is an IDCian and I got in touch with her when I did the Basic HCI course. She is very beautiful, infact apart from the people even computers go crazy around her. This is perhaps because of her magnetic personality, who knows ;), nevertheless it was enough to christen Anupama as Jinx. (we started calling her Joinx when she started liking Jinx. :D) Sometimes I wish that she wasnt older than me :( :X ;) Anupama did Animations from CDAC Pune, and is now about to complete her Masters in Visual Communications from IDC.

Nelly


	Nelly, sweet Nelly!! I met nelly in Mood I, she studies medical in Pune. Basically from Assam she's the most radical girl you'll ever see. Being a freak-out type, she's very frank and she speaks her heart out. The best thing about her is her come-as-you-please type of attitude. Mostly upset with the lengthy exams they have at her place, otherwise she's in a very peppy mood! Her favorite hobby is Mountaineering!! People say two persons of opposite sex can never be good friends, well, I say they are wrong, She's the best friend I've had for most of my past 3 years. Currently, she's doing medical in BJ Medical college, Pune.

Suan


	Suan Ninan Elizabeth aka Cokegirl!! Have you ever seen Laetitia Casta or Aishwarya Rai? Suan has a better and cooler dressing attitude then either of them. Words fail me when I start telling about Suan. She is the reason why most of us cleared our courses. Some went to the Department just to get a glimpse of her, others took xeroxed her magnificient meticulously prepared notes. She is very fond of Coke and the colour Blue. Infact all we have seen her wearing is different shades of blue. She even opted for the login name "Cokegirl" while deciding the ones for Department, unfortunately that was against the rules. ;) Suan is a NRI, from Zambia. She knows French and English and worked hard to improve her hindi these four years. She found her soulmate here in IITBombay, we hope that things will work out and soon we'll get a wedding invitation.

Ashima


	Ashima Goyal - the Queen of our batch! In a place like IIT, she happens to be one of the most beautiful girls of our batch. But she is of real friendly nature. To describe her would take a really long time, the charm, the charisma, the attitude, everything about her had an distinct aura. With great credentials in academics, hostel, cultural and sports, she did a fundoo summer training in Texas Instruments which got her a pre-placement offer in the same. In 2003 PAF, she played the role of a Queen, which couldnt have suited any1 else better. Her personal life took big turns in her final year and this princess has found her prince. Ashi, if you read this, I'll miss our annual Ice cream treats. I wish you all the happiness in this world, may all your dreams come true.

Nida


	Nida Khan - My ex-batchmate!(ex-ex actually!!) You must have heard of old friends meeting thru net! Well, she was with us till class 7, then again we found out eachother thru batchmates.com. Well, I must say, she's evolved, and she's got the coolest and the sweetest voice I've ever heard. Nida's sister Sana(our senior) got married to Niyaz's brother Imtiyaz(our and her senior)! So here's wishing a DPS couple a happily married life. Last I knew, she was doing management in Pune.
