Following is a list of physical science projects phrased as questions which
can be answered by carrying out experimental investigations.

- Which United Staes coin has the greatest volume? (Hint: Seperately place coins into a graduated cylinder containing water. Determine the coin volume by water displacment.)

soda can and a metal rod. Cut away some of the soda can so that the food placed in it will
be exposed to the sun. A metal rod may be used to hold the food into place.)
- What ype of wing design provides the greatest lift to an airplane?
- What happens if one freezes wet rocks? (Hint: Wet some rocks and then individually
seal them in freezer bags before putting them into the freezer.)
