Bahru is poised to become the largest gold jewellery retail market in Asia when phase one
of the Menara Landmark development project opens later in the year.
More than 1,209 square metres of retail space had been
allocated for gold jewellery retailing in Landmark Mall, an integrated mall of Menara
Landmark, which will also consists of a hotel complex and an office tower.
The concept is similar to any supermarket, but only gold
products will be sold in the allocated area. The entire Floor Two of the Mall is
being set aside for this retail market.
