The 212 acres Orchid Valley, the world's largest orchid plantation attraction is located 28 kilometres north-west of Johor Bahru City in an area called Gunung Pulai (Pulai Mountain).

Covered with over 80 various types of quality tropical orchids breed, this valley was invested with RM20 million capital by a private enterprise from Singapore.  It consists of an orchid plantation, tourist centre and a research laboratory.

The gentle undulations of the landscape coupled with the ceaseless wind and ample sunshine all year round made the valley an ideal location for orchid cultivation.  The addition of the cool air, artificial lakes, waterfalls and the scenic view made this agro-tourism development a great treat for it's visitors.
