One of the world's largest integrated commercial development, the RM4 billion Southern City, is currently being developed along Jalan Tebrau (Tebrau Highway), an arterial highway of Johor Bahru.

It will, among all, incorporate a shopping mall with whooping 2,000 shops, 10 apartment blocks providing some 1,000 apartment units, 4 office towers, 2 blocks of hotel, one block of medical centre, 12,500 car-parking bays and South East Asia's largest indoor theme park.

Dubbed the City of Tomorrow, this development is divided into six developmental parcels which will eventually take up to ten years to complete.

Four million visitors per year are expected upon the completion of the entire project.
