Welcome to my Stormi info page. So I guess if you made it here you have at least a tiny little bit of curiousity about me. Am I right? Well, I will tell you more probably than you ever wanted to know. First the basics. I am 29 years old. I am a Leo which means I am very hot tempered and always 'think' I should be in control. This happens very rarely however but the point is that I FEEL that I should be. LOL. I am a romantic, a dreamer, a realist, a pessimist. I am a poet, an author, (to see some of my work click here) a web page designer, a computer basics tutor (in my spare time), and a home health nurse (currently unemployed). I am an internet addict and a curious child in search of knowledge. I am the wife of the man I fell in love with my junior year in high school and the mother of our two spunky irritating little kids, ages 11 and 5.  Those girls are something else. Sometimes I feel that the funny farm has attendants on the way to pick me up but they are wonderful and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. The eleven year old, Jessica, is just like her mother- very creative, intelligent, witty and beautiful...(ok well at least she is). The youngest, Alyssa, is more like her father- crafty, ingenious, and gorgeous! Did I mention precocious? *smile* I have two sweet little dogs, both full blood rat terriers, who keep our house interesting.

This is my son Spot. He is 4.

I am an orphan. My parents passed away from separate illnesses in 1994. In a span of three months I lost both of them and have been lost myself on numerous occasions since their passing. Grief is a hard thing to deal with when given in small doses or massive ones. Being on the internet, in a strange way, has helped me to get over myself a little. It can be a very therapeutic outlet for those who have lost loved ones. I am working on a page dedicated to my parents and to people who have lost family members or friends. I will post the link as soon as I get it finished to my satisfaction.

I guess that is all there is to know about me..... except why I call myself Stormi. It really is not a mystery. I am addicted to storms. Springtime is my favorite time of year because here in Texas that is when the storm season begins. The air gets warm and the weather bulletins go out. From the first beeep beeeep beeeeep on the tv... my adrenaline is pumping. I keep an eye to the sky and nothing makes me happier than seeing a huge billowy monster growing by leaps and bounds coming ever nearer to where I am. I have never seen a tornado but I keep an eye out for one every time there is a chance. Well I hope that you learned a little about me. WAKE UP, I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!!! lol.
