Email from the intrepid 3

Sun 23/2/97, Pretoria, South Africa

Hello Dave, 

Mailing you as promised, hope you`re at home this weekend and have checked
you`re e-mail since last night.We 3 arrived by train in Pretoria yesterday avo about 
4.30 (we drove the train, well we stood up front anyhow!) and came straight to Mazuri 
Backpackers lodge.  BBQ last night after a huge hail storm - 33 degrees C and 
about 4 inches of water flowing down the street !

        BUGGER!

---Update Bit---

Have been along the south coast of South Africa, North into Lesotho (small landlocked
country within S.A.) and out the other side to Pretoria. We all climbed the mountain 
behind some blokes house where we stayed in Lesotho. Every night in Lesotho was spent 
by candle light or parafin lamp and in the last place we had to pump water by hand if 
we wanted to drink or cook!

---current thinking / plans bit---

We`re gonna try to see some lions and tigers soon and climb a volcano and a mountian 
(well it is Sunday afterall and the shops are closed!) seriously though, Kilimanjaro 
and Mt Kenya, you`ve probably heard of them???
